Tarpon Season 2026
Tarpon trips are booked strictly through the end of April through July! Tarpon are a migrational fish so these months are your best shot at landing one in Tampa Bay. They are Florida’s most prized inshore fish growing up to 200lbs and there notorious acrobatic behavior once getting tight with one you’ll be hooked for life.
Common Charter FAQs:
Do I need a fishing license?
Nope! When you book a fishing charter in Florida, your fishing license is covered under the charter’s license. All you have to do is show up ready to fish, and we’ll handle the rest.
Can kids come?
Yes! Kids are welcome on our fishing charters. Inshore trips are especially great for younger anglers or first-timers thanks to calmer waters and shorter ride times. Life jackets are provided, and safety is always our top priority.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety always comes first. If weather or sea conditions aren’t safe to fish, we’ll work with you to reschedule your trip or discuss alternative options. Florida weather can change quickly, and our captain monitors conditions closely to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Do we keep the fish?
Yes, as long as the fish meet Florida size and bag limit regulations. We follow all Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) rules to protect local fisheries. Any legal catch is yours to keep, and fish cleaning is available upon request.
